Grands Cépages Range

The Grands Cépages range is Champagne Baron-Fuenté’s flagship selection. These single-varietal champagnes immortalise our blending style that makes Baron-Fuenté and Champagne so famous. These exceptional cuvees burst with authenticity and will please all of your senses.

Chardonnay is one of the two emblematic grape varieties of Baron-Fuenté House. Early on, it offers delicate aromas, both floral and mineral. Once vinified and aged for many years in perfect storing conditions, its extreme finesse and complexity are immensely enjoyed. It is indeed a cuvee for Grand moments.

Pinot Meunier is Champagne Baron-Fuenté’s emblematic grape variety and terroir, the Vallée de la Marne. Unfortunately, because it is hard to work with, notably requiring long cuvee ageing, it is often set aside in Champagne. However, when growing and vinifying the variety are perfectly mastered, a fabulous Grands Cépages Meunier is obtained. As the word ‘average’ is not part of our vocabulary, we have allowed it to freely and naturally express itself in our cellars for 8 years with no dosage.
